We got to help Erin, health and beauty blogger (and let's be real, total badass) of Fit Rocker Chick, launch her new Custom site with us to reflect how her brand has evolved and change over the years. We loved working with all the textures in the background from the splatter to the dusty chalk to make it look more rock and roll.

GO LIVE: DID YOUR EDUCATION HELP PREPARE YOU FOR THE INDUSTRY OR ARE YOU SELF-TAUGHT?

Erin: I'm self taught. After graduating high school by the skin of my teeth, I picked up and moved to Nashville at 18 years old. No job and just enough gas in my car to get there. I guess it was a lot of drive, a good amount of stubbornness, a little bit of naivety, and a dash of stupidity that got me here! I've been running my own businesses for years. I've just always done my own thing!

GO LIVE: WHAT'S THE HARDEST LESSON YOU'VE LEARNED IN YOUR BUSINESS?

Erin: I've learned that not every idea will be solid gold, and that's just part of the gig!

GO LIVE: WHAT DO YOU WISH SOMEONE WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU WHEN YOU STARTED OUT?

Erin: How to handle the doubts and fear of failure. Everyone said that I'd doubt myself from time to time, but learning how to navigate the doubt and kick the fear to the curb is a totally different animal. You should know that it's not only going to happen, but you should have a plan of attack for when it does.

GO LIVE: WHAT WAS THE MOMENT YOU HAD WHEN YOU SAID "I SHOULD DO THIS" OR WHAT MADE YOU TAKE THE JUMP INTO WORKING FOR YOURSELF?

Erin: I don't really ever say "this is what I'm going to do now." I just try to keep my heart open to direction and let God lead me where He needs me. Oftentimes it's not really where I want to go, to be honest. But once I'm there I'm always like "Oh! I get it now. Cool."

GO LIVE: WHAT THINGS HAVE YOU GAINED / DO YOU HOPE TO GAIN FROM FOLLOWING THIS DREAM?

Erin: From following my dream I've gained a belief in myself that can't be shaken. I know who I am, I know my heart, I know who loves me, and that's all I need. The time, the freedom, and the fun I get to have because I run my own business is a happy bonus in comparison to the significance of knowing I'm exactly where I need to be.

I hope to create a ripple effect. I hope that by me helping someone else, they will pass it on and pay it forward. I have this vision of my community, and I'm slowly overtaking a corner of the world and filling it with happy, confident, driven, passionate, sassy-as-they-come women!

GO LIVE: WHY DID YOU ULTIMATELY DECIDE TO WORK WITH US FOR YOUR RESTYLE?

Erin: I decided to work with Go Live HQ because they know how make the vision come to life. Simple as that. Well, that and they do some kick ass design and work FAST!
