Custom Squarespace Website For Professional Coach Mos’ Okediji

MODERN, PLAYFUL & WITTY are just a few of the words that describe the project we did for Professional Coach, Mos’ Okediji. When Mos’ came to us she wanted help with branding and design. We loved creating her brand color palette and logo before we jumped into the design of her new website. For the website, we took our Salt + Sage Template for Squarespace and restyled it to match the feel of her brand. Our favorite part of this project is the playfulness of this brand and how that comes across in the details.

GO LIVE: WHERE DID YOUR PASSION FOR THE INDUSTRY OR CRAFT START?

Mos’: I'd been longing to define my purpose so that I can make a more significant impact in the world. I got even more, ignited after my mom's passing because of a deeper appreciation for time. I have a gift and calling to motivate people, and through Growtie, I want to serve as a catalyst to help people pursue the bold dreams they have. I would love to work with them to lean into their imaginations and bring their ideas and goals to life. It is intensely fulfilling to me to hear someone say, "I did it!" As an immigrant living in the United States, I believe you can overcome social norms and barriers.

GO LIVE: DID YOUR EDUCATION HELP PREPARE YOU FOR THE INDUSTRY OR FOR STARTING YOUR OWN BUSINESS? OR ARE YOU SELF-TAUGHT?

Mos’: As a lifelong learner, I believe education is vital. I trained at a prestigious and best in class institute for coaching. Beyond formal education, I would say my resilient, grit, and growth mindset prepared me. I'm also fortunate to have come from a family of serial entrepreneurs, so I have had a lot of experience and practice!

GO LIVE: WHAT’S THE HARDEST LESSON YOU’VE LEARNED IN YOUR BUSINESS?

Mos’: Prioritization! You have to put pen to paper, make a plan, and get someone to hold you accountable. I believe it's more effective to crush your goals that way.

GO LIVE: WHAT DO YOU WISH SOMEONE WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU WHEN YOU STARTED OUT?

Mos’: There is nothing like starting out perfect. I love a quote from Simon Sinek that says, "Dream Big, Start Small...but most of all, start" Get out of your head and start already!

GO LIVE: WHAT WAS THE MOMENT YOU HAD WHEN YOU SAID, “I SHOULD DO THIS” OR WHAT MADE YOU TAKE THE JUMP INTO WORKING FOR YOURSELF?

Mos’: Fun question... I get coached myself, and me launching Growtie as a side hustle is a result of all the excellent coaching I've had. I made a move when it finally clicked that coaching brings me joy and ladders up to my purpose and values I want to honor.

GO LIVE: WHAT THINGS HAVE YOU GAINED / DO YOU HOPE TO GAIN IN YOUR LIFE FROM FOLLOWING THIS DREAM?

Deep fulfillment and I also have a dream that one day, I'll have the flexibility to be available to my family as much as I want, and that would be able to work from anywhere in the world with just a phone and headset. I'm on my way there :-)

Mos’: #GirlPower but seriously, I wanted to enjoy the experience of building my website and turned the internet upside down and finally settled on GoLive after I fell in love with your approach and work.
