Christina is the owner of TEAL Studio, a hair and makeup studio based in Massachusetts. She has over 12 years of experience in the industry. As she recently transitioned to be the sole owner of the solopreneurship, she knew it was time to take her brand and business to the next level.

ABOUT THE DESIGN
With over 8 years in the hair and makeup industry, a big focus of this project was to showcase the many offerings and hair mastery of TEAL Studio while keeping the design true to the brand. To achieve this, our team did a Restyle (customization of a Squarespace Template from our shop) of our Curate Template For Squarespace. We incorporated the existing branding throughout the design to make our Curate template stand out. The vibe we were going for was feminine, edgy and bohemian. We love how all the elements came together and flow together seamlessly.

What’s the hardest lesson you’ve learned in your business?
Work smarter not harder. Make sure to delegate tasks that can be handed over. Keep your priorities straight. Invest in marketing and business coaching and absolutely make sure to define your target market and branding early and re-evaluate every other year. Continue your education constantly and be ready to learn new applications and industry trends at the drop of a dime.
What do you wish someone would have told you when you started out?
Expect nothing and gain everything.
What does it mean to you to launch or redesign your website?
Everything! After 8 years with a business partner I am now the sole owner with an amazing team and fabulous clientele. I am so excited to rebrand and invest in a much needed change as our team and target market has evolved so much.
