Post Quality Over Quantity On Social Media

Trying to figure out what to post to your business social media account can be daunting and frustrating. Especially in the early stages when you’re building your brand and working to define your ideal client. Have ya been there? Here’s a helpful tip that we’ve learned over the years to help drive business and build a customer base.

Pursue QUALITY over QUANTITY by posting rich, helpful content to your social media accounts.

Unfortunately, many business owners assume that just posting frequently is the key to social success. It my work temporarily but it’s not an effective strategy for the growth, trust, loyalty, and longevity of your audience. We suggest narrowing down what kind of audience/clients you want to attract (aka your ideal client) and experiment with posting content that will be helpful or valuable FOR THEM on a consistent basis.

For example: if you’re a wedding photographer, consider posting a helpful tip for a bride and groom or a behind the scenes look of your booking process so they can know what to expect. Give them MORE than just the sale of your product to build relationship and create conversation.

What important tip have you learned while building your brand and audience on social media? We’d love to hear about that in the comments.
