Archer & Olive Is Live On Shopify
The Archer & Olive brand designs stationary that will inspire you to live your best life. Designer Bonnie Kuhl wanted to create a site that would showcase their high-end stationary products in a clean and beautiful way. We worked with Bonnie to create this new website design as well as her logo and brand kit!
The vision for her site was high-end, classic, and playful. Our goal was to create a feminine and fun online home for the best notebooks on the market. Check out the full design on Shopify!

GO LIVE: WHERE DID YOUR PASSION FOR THE INDUSTRY OR CRAFT START?
Bonnie: I have been obsessed with notebooks since I could hold a pen! Every year at Christmas time, I would start a "Christmas Journal" which basically detailed my day to day, until Christmas arrived.
GO LIVE: DID YOUR EDUCATION HELP PREPARE YOU FOR THE INDUSTRY OR FOR STARTING YOUR OWN BUSINESS? OR ARE YOU SELF-TAUGHT?
Bonnie: This is a complicated question! Haha. My degree is in graphic design, but I taught myself the basics long before taking any classes. College was a great place to develop a style - though I'd say the real education comes from time spent on the job. In my experience, nothing educates you like just jumping in and getting started.
GO LIVE: WHAT’S THE HARDEST LESSON YOU’VE LEARNED IN YOUR BUSINESS?
Bonnie: There have been so many! I'd say the most important lesson I had to learn was learning to say no. There were many times I was afraid to say no because I didn't want to hurt someones feelings. Learning that I can say no, while still being respectful has been a tremendous help.
GO LIVE: WHAT DO YOU WISH SOMEONE WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU WHEN YOU STARTED OUT?
Bonnie: Keep up with your accounting!
GO LIVE: WHAT WAS THE MOMENT YOU HAD WHEN YOU SAID, “I SHOULD DO THIS” OR WHAT MADE YOU TAKE THE JUMP INTO WORKING FOR YOURSELF?
Bonnie: When I realized I was selling out of inventory on the first day, I knew I was on to something good!
GO LIVE: WHAT THINGS HAVE YOU GAINED / DO YOU HOPE TO GAIN FROM FOLLOWING THIS DREAM?
Bonnie: While I work so much harder than I ever did at a 9-5, I am so happy to pour everything into Archer and Olive. Knowing I'm creating this product that brings out creativity in others, fills me with so much joy.
GO LIVE: WHY DID YOU ULTIMATELY DECIDE TO WORK WITH US FOR YOUR RESTYLE OR CUSTOM DESIGN?
Bonnie: Our notebooks and planners are the best on the market, and I wanted the website to reflect that. I want our customers to see excellence from the second they land on the site.
