We want to start planning another wedding after creating this website for Andie Avery Photography! Working with Andie was like looking at her photography – it’s incredibly sunny and warm. We designed her Squarespace Website as part of our Restyle package, going for a fun, friendly and welcoming design.

GOLIVE: WHERE DID YOUR PASSION FOR THE INDUSTRY OR CRAFT START?

It started at a young age, but I didn't particularly become passionate about weddings until 4 years into my business when I realized how big of a blessing, responsibility, and honor it would be to capture a huge day in someone's life! While I ultimately don't believe your wedding day is the most important day of your ENTIRE life, I do believe that it will be one of the most joyful & memorable days of your existence, and something worth freakin celebrating!!!! It's so rad to create art that will become a legacy, as their great grandchildren may get the opportunity to be shown these images one day.

GOLIVE: DID YOUR EDUCATION HELP PREPARE YOU FOR THE INDUSTRY OR FOR STARTING YOUR OWN BUSINESS? OR ARE YOU SELF-TAUGHT?

I'm completely self-taught! My parents got me a nice camera for Christmas when I was 16 and shortly afterwards I was already brainstorming how I could make this a business! By the age of 18 I was shooting weddings, by 19/20 years old I was making twice as much from photography as I was from my part time job, and at the age of 22 I was able to go full time in weddings only!

GOLIVE: WHAT’S THE HARDEST LESSON YOU’VE LEARNED IN YOUR BUSINESS?

Success doesn't happen overnight, nor is it a linear growth pattern. Most often times being an entrepreneur means believing in yourself even when you feel like no one else does! No one else is going to make it happen for you, you've gotta work your butt off to get where you dream to be!

GOLIVE: WHAT DO YOU WISH SOMEONE WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU WHEN YOU STARTED OUT?

Confidence is key! Fake it till you make it my friends ;) I spent too much time being self conscious & comparing myself to others. GOLIVE: WHAT WAS THE MOMENT YOU HAD WHEN YOU SAID, “I SHOULD DO THIS” OR WHAT MADE YOU TAKE THE JUMP INTO WORKING FOR YOURSELF?

The second I was offered a $20 bill at the age of 16 to take someone's senior photos, I thought "oh, this is definitely a smart business move! I should do this!"

GOLIVE: WHAT THINGS HAVE YOU GAINED/DO YOU HOPE TO GAIN IN YOUR LIFE FROM FOLLOWING THIS DREAM?

As cheesy as I would say it is, I feel as though I have been living my dream for the past few years. Of course my goals change as I change, but I feel so blessed to have been able to live out my dream at such a young age. I have complete freedom in my schedule, so much opportunity to travel & see the world, and to be a part of such joyful human's important moments in their lives!

GOLIVE: WHY DID YOU ULTIMATELY DECIDE TO WORK WITH US FOR YOUR RESTYLE OR CUSTOM SQUARESPACE WEBSITE DESIGN?

I wanted my site to feel different than any other wedding photographer I'd seen!
