Andee Love Is LIVE On Squarespace
Andrea Lucchesi of Andee Love decided to book a Restyle with us after her business of being an high-level spiritual success coach had grown in the last year! She was looking for a bohemian, high-end, and free spirited brand that matched her personality. She also wanted to showcase geometric details, which inspired her “AL” logo design.
"There’s a very big difference between going to work because you have to go, and waking up every day and saying “I get to serve people in a greater capacity than I ever have before." – Andrea Lucchesi
GO LIVE: WHERE DID YOUR PASSION FOR THE INDUSTRY START?
ANDREA: I’ve always been in a helping profession with people. My background is in therapy, so I’ve always had a deep passion to help people, and to help them tune into their highest self. But, I felt like the therapy world kept me a little bit limited. So, that’s when I decided to expand out on my own and to explore other modalities.
I do a lot of energy healing, a lot intuitive work, and so I have now pulled those practices with my background in therapy into this new way of coaching entrepreneurs that are really wanting to up-level their businesses.
GO LIVE: DID YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR EDUCATION HELPED PREP YOU TO RUN YOUR OWN BUSINESS?
ANDREA: My background was in art therapy and transpersonal counseling psychology, so they’re both not the traditional modalities. I was always going a little bit against the grain, even in my education. I was always looking for the modalities that put you outside the box.
I really feel like my life experience and applying the tools I teach my clients into my everyday life is really what makes my work different, because I’m not just teaching textbook content. I’m teaching life experience and the application of what I do.
GO LIVE: WHAT WAS THE MOMENT YOU HAD THAT YOU DECIDED TO WORK FOR YOURSELF?
ANDREA: I had a lot of success in other industries. I had this bold belief system that when you hit a certain level of success in your life that you would find that contentment and happiness that everyone talks about wanting to achieve.
I remember sitting on my couch one day and thinking, “Wow. I have the financial freedom, I have the time freedom.” But, I was not fulfilled at all in what I was doing. Everything that I had learned about what it meant to create success in your life was a big lie, and I was really frustrated. I have the degrees on the wall and the money in my bank account, so why don’t I have fulfillment?
It was in that moment that I had a total breakdown of surrender. It was almost as if I could a hear a voice say, “You are here to teach people a journey from a different lens.” I just knew in that moment that I need to step out and do this on my own. I need to create some sort of business or mentorship that helps other people that feel how I feel.
GO LIVE: WHAT HAVE YOU GAINED BY FOLLOWING THIS DREAM?
ANDREA: I’ve gained the contentment completely. What I’m doing now is not only what I’m good at, it’s what lights me up. There’s a very big difference between waking up every day and going to work because you have to go, and waking up every day and saying “I get to serve people in a greater capacity than I ever have before.” I absolutely love what I do because I’m doing what I believe to be my true calling. It’s what I believe I was put on this planet to do.
GO LIVE: WHAT DO YOU WIHS SOMEONE WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU WHEN YOU STARTED OUT?
ANDREA: That it’s okay to ask for support and help. That’s not a sign of weakness, that’s a sign of strength. I think a lot of times, especially for solo entrepreneurs, we think we have to do it all ourselves and work our asses off. We think that the way we get where we want to be is by doing it all and work really, really hard. It’s not that this process hasn’t been hard work, but there is a way to find support. And, a support team isn’t something you have to be dumping a lot of resources into in the beginning.
I spent the first year of business trying to do it solo because that to me meant that I was strong and I was powerful and fierce, but really what it did was it broke me down and wore me out. I wish I would have known in the beginning that it’s okay to ask for support. Now, my business flows in a very different way because I have a team of people who help me. I have people who I can rely on, which creates a totally different energy.
GO LIVE: WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO TAKE YOUR BRAND FOR A RESTYLE?
ANDREA: My business has grown pretty rapidly over the last year, and when I look at the branding that I had up until this point, it felt somewhat adolescent. It very much mirrored where I was at in my business a year ago when I was creating it.
I wanted to have something that really represented who I am now in this role, and that inner feeling represented, so that when people go to the website, they can feel who I am. I feel like I have matured in my role as a coach and I wanted my website and my brand to reflect that, so that people can really feel me in the images and in the design, and they can connect with that.
