Proper Girl Is Live On Squarespace
Propergirl.com is a digital lifestyle guide for the woman with style & substance. Our goal for this project was to make an online magazine using the Everyday template with a high-end, editorial & magazine vibe. We used each of the featured portfolio / gallery sections on the page to highlight popular post content (such as fashion and faith). For the nav bar, we simply made each link a blog category so readers can easily choose between the content they’re interested in most. Although we didn't create the logo, we kept with that high-end look throughout the site.
The challenge we had before us was to create an “author block” section where we could highlight different authors at the end of each post, that could feature an image + a bio. In the end, we were able to create exactly what she was looking for without ANY coding, and she LOVED it! We loved doing a fresh approach to the top home section gallery since it was for a digital magazine & not for an artist’s portfolio. It was so much fun to get creative with it & figure out ways to show Propergirl’s brand right off the bat (statement imagery & color palette), feature a recent blog post, and incorporate a search bar into her page.
Essentially we loved this project - the color palette, the editorial imagery, the fonts, and especially, the heart behind it.
